To change the world, we need more than just one hero. We need everyone who is willing to stand up and make a difference.
In the beginning, when chaos was undefined, the Twin Gods descended into the infinite land.
Isola, the Lord of Light, holding the Fire of Hope, symbolizing brightness and warmth, created space. Enui, the Lord of Darkness, wielding the Endless Darkness, symbolizing shadow and cold, created time.
Thus, the universe of ELHEXA was born. Isola molded the land, while Enui countered by creating the seas. When the creations of the Twin Gods clashed, ELHEXA faced disaster. Through ongoing conflict and reconciliation, the world of ELHEXA gradually took shape.
Isola shaped the Elves, while Enui created the Beastfolk. In legend, they are considered the oldest races in El Hexa. Among all the intelligent creatures, only the Elves and Beastfolk were created directly by the Twin Gods.
Since the Elves and Beastfolk were contradictory creations, they quickly fell into conflict. However, Isola and Enui found this quite amusing. They decided to stand aside and let the conflict between the two races determine which creation would prevail. The conflicts escalated and eventually led to a full-scale war engulfing ELHEXA.
Seeing that ELHEXA was on the verge of destruction, Isola decided to intervene. Isola personally restored the war-torn ELHEXA continent. Enui was greatly displeased by this, believing that Isola had violated their previous agreement of neutrality.
Thus, Enui planted seeds of destruction within the ELHEXA continent. Under the pull of these two forces, the third intelligent race of ELHEXAāthe Dwarvesāwas born underground.
The Dwarves were not the creations of the Twin Gods, but rather the indigenous life of the ELHEXA continent. Therefore, they did not support either the Elves or the Beastfolk. Instead, the Dwarves sought to profit from the conflict between the two sides.
As the war spread, the Dwarves grew stronger and even began to encroach on the territories of the other two races. Eventually, the Beastfolk and Elves realized the severity of the situation and had to cease hostilities.
With the three sides reaching a delicate balance, the ELHEXA continent finally embraced peace.
After the end of the First Era, the continent of ELHEXA entered a thousand years of peace. The world saw a tripartite balance of power: the Elves of the "Kingdom of Archmages," the Beastfolk of the "Kingdom of Warriors," and the Dwarves of the " Kingdom of Mechanics."
The prolonged peace allowed the power of Light to dominate the continent of ELHEXA. However, in the shadows, the seeds planted by Enui were quietly sprouting.
In the gathering place of darkness, an evil entity was born, known to the people as "The Barren."
Wherever the Barren went, fire and war spread. Hatred, plague, and death nourished the Barren, making it immensely powerful.
Elves, Beastfolk and Dwarves had each fought against the Barren but were individually defeated due to their own weaknessesāarrogance, recklessness, and selfishness.
Finally, the leaders of the three races convened a round table meeting in the central city of ELHEXA. They resolved to set aside their differences and unite against the Barren.
The heroes who would confront the Barren had to pass the trials of the three races, demonstrating the wisdom of an mechanic, the talent for magic, and the strength of a warrior.
In the end, the one who passed the trials was a frail human. He would be remembered by future generations as the Guardian of ELHEXA: the "Knight of the Silver Flame," who would change the course of ELHEXA's history.
The Knight of the Silver Flame led the armies of the three nations to defeat the Barren. In this battle, both the forces of Light and Darkness suffered heavy losses.
The Barren was destroyed, and the Knight of the Silver Flame was gravely wounded. He was brought back to ELHEXA by the people and fell into an eternal sleep.
he War of the Barren reshaped the world structure of ELHEXA. Light triumphed over darkness, bringing a brief period of peace to ELHEXA.
Due to the "Knight of the Silver Flame" being human, humanity rose in prominence and attained equal status with other races in ELHEXA.
The feudal forces within the three races gradually declined, and the pursuit of equality and openness became the new mainstream. Individuals, regardless of race, could learn magic, acquire mechanic skills, and train to become warriors from all three races.
In the year 199 after the War of the Barren, the first Great Cataclysm struck: celestial fires fell, the earth crumbled, and tides swept across the land.
The Great Cataclysm destroyed the major civilizations of all races, except for the central city of ELHEXA, which remained unscathed. Some believed it was the walls built by the mechanics that protected it, others credited the magesā barriers, but many more believed it was the protection of the slumbering "Knight of the Silver Flame" that shielded ELHEXA.
Many people reported sightings of a mysterious crimson figure at various catastrophe sites. Some fervently claimed it was the curse of this figure that brought about the Cataclysm, but most scoffed at these rumors. Nonetheless, the survivors began to rebuild their homes in the aftermath of the disaster.
In the year 199 after the first Great Cataclysm, the second Great Cataclysm struck.
The central city of ELHEXA survived the second Great Cataclysm, but five of the main bridges connecting it to the outside were destroyed, leaving only one bridge intact.
From that point on, the leaders of ELHEXA understood that they had to take action before the next Great Cataclysm, or the entire continent of ELHEXA would face obliteration.
